now you may or may not know (you probably do) that i am very passionate about cambodia and its culture and stuff and you could say that i know many many things about.. things. about cambodia. but this is something i have just learnt. youve heard of the lochness monster (i was fascinated by it as a kid).. and youve heard of bigfoot. but have you heard of...

THE EXISTENCE OF A CAMBODIAN BIGFOOT?

ohmylordylohk. is this possible? it very well could be. german scientists in the 40s were studying skulls and stuff and discovered a new species GIGANTOPITHECUS BLACKI. the guy discovered them in java but was captured by the japanese during wwII so he didnt do any research then. the bones spent the war buried in a milk bottle in a friend's yard in java. aiyah.

but anyway. this giant ape is said to have originated somewhere in ancient cambodia and probably migrated around asia.. like HUMANS. that would explain the tibetan yeti or tibetan bigfoot.. the one that lives in the mountains. this is like really.. freaky. especially when there are those stories told in cambodia about big monkeys taking away people and eating them. or taking away girls to do the sex with them and make them their purdy wives.

could these stories be true?

were our parents telling us the truth all this time?

i remember when i was a kid in nz and there was this playground near our house.. but next to that was like this pine forest place. it was like near a really steep cliff and my dad told me never to go in there alone because there were creatures in there that ate children. did he get this story from cambodia?

sightings of this asian bigfoot have been reported in malaysia, cambodia, thailand, laos and vietnam. my mum told me she has heard of them before too. but never seen one. a friends grandma told us a story about how this big monkey took a woman away to make her his wife. there are stories about loggers working in Ratanak-kiri province in cambodia (mostly forest and smelly tribespeople lol) who have seen them in the jungle..one logger in malaysia claims he saw one sitting in his hut. i am really fascinated by this as you can tell by my long blog. ITS SO WEIRD BUT FASCINATING GAHGAHGAH.

some people say that during the war in cambodia when they were escaping in the countryside they saw a group of them when they were standing on a hill. they were apparently walking together - 5 or 6 adults and some adolescents witha couple babies holding on the their backs. thats bloody fantasmagorical. soldiers in the vn war have said they saw some bigfoot running away into the jungle during the war.

people making their homes everywhere would probably have pushed them into the hills and jungle. which is where they are right now, if they exist. how exciting. this guy in malaysia has like this asian ghostbusters team made up of supernatural force guys from malaysia cambodia.. indonesia or something.. and they go around like exorcising villages and stuff. THEY FOUND A MERMAID. ohmylord i will post it up next time. dunno if its real.. but it looks gross lol. they apparently have caught a jin and a BIGFOOT. but they dont have the funds to bring it to malaysia? or something like that.
