something must be going wrong with my stars. or perhaps im just looking for something to blame my recent unfortunate circumstances on. in the last few days ive been spending a bit more than i should have.. or it feels like it anyway. and now things around me start breaking so i need to spend more damn money. GARARARARAR money is so evil. and yet it is my secret love. but yeah. the other day i went to listen to my ipod which my dear friends bought me for my 17th birthday - see birthday post around 4th august 2005 - and when i turned it on i saw something.. AMAAAAAAZINGGGGGG!! okay actually it was more weird and unexpected and it made me go... OHMYTHATIS ...AMAAAAAAZINGGGG!!!! okay i didnt say that i was more like wtf is this shit yo. bc it was a picture of a little ipod with a sad face and crosses for eyes. like it was a cartoon of a dead ipod. with a "!" sign inside a triangle half-superimposed on it, alerting me to an omg-there'ssomethingwrongwithyour-ipod problem. and i thought it would go away if i recharged it a bit and whatever. so i did. and the problem didnt go away. and i was like shit.

so today i went into the city to get it fixed. i dont know any places that repair ipods except one which i see everyday on the tram on the way to uni. on elizabeth st. so i went there. and theyre like itll be 50 bucks. and im thinking oh fish thats pretty expensive. all theyre doing is some little job on the damn piece of crap. AND the guys like OH. and you'll lose all your music.

thats what happened in my head. and i was like oh man. after all that hard work putting things on and choosing crap.. and renaming things and everything.. curse you apple. you and your faulty product. so now i have to get all my music back on... after i get my ipod back. so thatll be a holiday task for me.. setting up my ipod again.

SO thats where some of this money is going. AND my watch is being gay. the second hand gets stuck and decides to start moving again whenever the hell it likes. you shake the watch really hard and it moves again for 5 mins. then stops. so you leave it overnight. to find that it starts moving by itself again for like 10 hours. ONLY TO STOP AGAIN. i wouldnt mind if it was just the second hand.. but the thing is thats not how watches work. if the second hand stops, the minute and the hour hands dont move either and youre stuck with a useless watch. A WATCH THAT DOESN'T TELL TIME. now if that aint like a fat man without a bucket of kfc. so thats where some more money will be going.

and also 30 bucks for the damn police check that i need to give to my boss. asif i need a police check. okay so its company policy and bc im working with small kids. but really... if i was a rapist or a muderer or a child molester, don't you think i would have raped or killed or molested a child by now? ive been there for like over half a year. i mean.. none of the kids are even hot enough to consider touching... LOOOL. jkjk. and of course you do remember the post about how smelly they are. if you are an avid reader of this web log. hehe.

so anyway that shall be all for today i think children. money money money. love/hate relationship. have to find some sort of 'free' past time. i think sleep is the best option. its free and fun and you save money in so many ways.. no going out so you're not tempted by clothes.. and food.. and youre sleeping too so theres not a real desire for food or drink.. and you dont need movies because you can make your own (he he he).. and youre lying down so youre comfortable.. and theres no loud, stinky kids around who can't add fractions.. no crazy people yelling at the sky.. or indian overseas students trying to hand out pamphlets to you advertising crap you don't need or getting you to sign up to a fehntehstic mohbile phohne deal ohn for toodeh ornly. so really.. i think the lesson learned today is that sleep is the best thing in the world. ever.
