hostage taking in cambodia
i think it was on thursday that it happened..and when i saw it i was like ugh. four hostage takers stormed an international school in siem reap.. a town near the temples that i posted a couple of days ago. 70 kids and 3 teachers were inside the school.. 30 were taken hostage. the kids were from the ages of 2 up to about 6 or 8? from all around the world too. there were aussies. there were kids from south korea, england, italy, singapore.. and one TWO YEAR OLD canadian boy was killed. that is disgusting. these bastard hostage takers make cambodia look so freakin dangerous. well i guess it kinda is but this is just crazy. the boy was fcking 2 years old for fcks sake. and they say they shot him because he cried too much. wtf. OF COURSE HE CRIED YOU BASTARDS. hes fckn TWO. and you come in with your bloody ak-47s taking over the bloody school.
they think the attackers did what they did because they thought foreign parents had lots of money so theyd take their children. another story is that they are in an anti-government group who want to ruin cambodias tourism industry. anyway in the end the police got them to come out of the building by giving them the minivan and $30 000 cash they requested. they took 4 children hostage with them and got into the van. but then the police shut the gate of the school and pulled them out of the van. most of the kids then ran out of the school and into their parents' arms. when the police took the evil bastards out of the school the parents were so angry they bashed 3 of them. GOOD ON YA. the police shielded the 4th guy. SHAME ON YOU. hahaha
anyway this is really unfortunate. its sad to see what people will do for money. or how desperate a person can get. praise to those local people who helped to save the children. they were running into the school and getting the kids out risking their own lives under fire. 6 hours the whole thing lasted. bastards threatened to kill the kids one by one. GARH.
rip to the canadian boy and sympathies to his family. i hope this doesnt change their perceptions of cambodia too much because it really does need all the help and foreign interest as it can get. lets all hope nothing like this happens again. thats probably extreme wishful thinking but i really hope it doesnt.
